Hi,  You should probably shoot in 60i on the G40 which will give you a standard 30fps video file (two interlaced fields).

Hi Richard,  Thanks for the tip. I tired a couple of formats that MediaInfo reported as being exact 24.00 but I will try and see if there is at least one that exports at 23.976, especially now that DivX is no longer supported. Thanks again!
