Hi @jjn,  Thanks for your response. As seems typical of late, cool features that are unusable due to core performance issues. I hope they can spend the time on one release to address this problem and make the program the editing experience it should be.

Hi,  A real proxy function is still not integrated into Pinnacle Studio and SmartProxy only works in multicam mode, not on the regular timeline. It is inconceivable this is still the case and makes 4K editing slow not to mention the new 8K modes. Hi YIMBEE,  Unfortunately, creating offline proxy files doesn't occur automatically in the background within Pinnacle Studio 24. I hope this feature will be incorporated in a future version.
