• Allow magnetic snap work for both sides of clip

Currently, it only snaps if you drag a clip to the left. It will snap to the left clip. I would love it if it also snapped when dragging a clip to the right. Thanks

  • Share your prep techniques

Hi all,I've been using PS for over 8 years now. I watched Paul's training video a while back and now since my job has me doing 1-3 videos per year (probably more soon), I've grown accustom to my basic workflow. My last project I realized that I needed to change my timeline settings. Once I changed it to 1920X1080 60fps (to match ...

  • black frames inserted in fades- should I re-encode? Which setting?!?

I seem to have black frames being inserted in my fade transitions. *The don't always display during previewing.* In this sample you can see a small flash of black followed by a bigger one. It seems to go in sync with the beginning and end of the fade. https://youtu.be/sMCWIZTbAPA I was thinking of using some of the ...

  • Re: The new dvd authoring/export process in PS21

Thanks for the help and resources. It seems like myDVD is missing the auto chapters from markers feature. Oh well. I hope they continue the legacy mode and do not phase it out. I only use it once a year but it would be nice not to break up the workflow.

  • The new dvd authoring/export process in PS21

It took me a while of digging to find the old style of dvd authoring. Once I clicked on the ''legacy'' button in the setup menu I was back in business. I like to add a fullscreen image backdrop and have 1 ''play'' button. I also map chapters to markers, select dvd DL disc and export to .ISO. That's it. My question is, why ...

  • Re: Active stream causing audio problems

saby:Of course there are several ways to make it from scratch. But I wanted to propose a solution he could apply now that the edit is done. Yes, this is what I was after. Leaving the audio uncut would fix it I believe, but I was looking for alternate solutions if there were any. This might take a while. Thanks though. I ...

  • Active stream causing audio problems

Hi guys, Im doing a multi cam edit, the hard way. The top video track has the main audio. The bottom track Is just b video footage. What I am doing is taking the top track and cutting sections, I then right click on that section and click on only audio as the active stream. This allows the video from the bottom track to show. When I was ...

  • Re: Export hangs at hourglass

Thanks Tony, I cut the footage down to 2 mins to experiment and the hourglass went away after about 10 sec. So I took the full 2 hour edit and left it on the hourglass and went to a meeting. 35 mins later it worked. So it seems related to the length of the project. I have done several 2+ hour edits before and have never ...
