• Re: 60p - frame inserted at end of cut

saby:Might be hardware acceleration related. I think this did it. THANK YOU! I set this to NONE (instead of CUDA). This was one of the reasons I got a new video card...but whatever. I also reset the render files, but I don't think it had rendered at all. I have preview set to fastest, op thresh set to 50%, and ...

thanks, but the frame is not there when zooming in. And, if I advance back and forth (frame by frame) between the cut sequences it does not produce the frame. It only shows up when playing back the preview in real time or in the rendered video. FWIW, I just did a similar edit in Premier and the frame was not there.

  • 60p - frame inserted at end of cut

Hey guys, Filming in 1080 60p AVCHD. Take a look at the :30 and the :48 marks in video. At the end of each cut there is some random frame inserted. It is visible if I play the scrubber bar in real time. However it is not visible if I advance the scrubber bar frame by frame. It doesn't matter if I change the ...

jjn: Eightysix86:Perhaps this should be moved to an off-topic thread? If there is one. Done - you should have got an email. I'm surprised you don't consider Avid Media Composer. It's the del facto standard in the UK broadcast industry. The new First version is free and if money isn't an issue then the the other versions are on a ...

  • Re: Opinions of Adobe Premier

Thanks Tony,Cost is not an issue for me since I work at a university. I hear you about the rep of the program. At my job, sometimes using a specific program speaks to your skills (of which I do not agree), but it is what it is. What I care most about though is supplementing an additional editor into my workflow to compensate for ...

  • Opinions of Adobe Premier

Hi everyone, First off, I don't plan on dropping PS from my workflow. I'm also a big Camtasia Studio user and often prefer their video editing platform for basic edits. But for more serious projects where I can't be bothered with little glitches and poor titles...... Are there any PS users in here that also use (or have used) ...

  • Re: Creating good-looking titles?

I might also need to change my perception of this software. Is this professional software? Or is this for home use? Am I using this product in a manner other then its intended functionality? I've had Adobe creative suite sitting on my computer for years. I just haven't had the time to learn it. I don't do a lot of ...

  • Creating good-looking titles?

Hi all, I just wanted to see if things had changed in the title dept since a couple years ago. I used the basic PS21 titler and it's still just pure garbage (pic below). Is there anything else in this application for titles? Happy to pay for a plugin. For important videos I create a basic title in Photoshop and import it as ...

  • Re: Share your prep techniques

Oh, bitrate. Sorry, I didn't pick up on the typo. Recently, I got access to a professional set and couldn't believe the quality from a well-lit set (well, better than what I can do anyway). Since I cannot color correct or grade to save my life, I really just go straight from cam to youtube. So now, I'm really after good ...
