I was wondering if anyone has tried running th RC Windows XP SP3 yet along with Liquid 7.2.

I wonder if this is another reason that we have not seen a patch for Liquid yet. Maybe Pinnacle is waiting for the SP3 release? Anythoughts?

As far as I understand the SP3 will just be a collection of all updates released over the past time. Not a huge difference to the OS as we have seen in SP2. The patch will take a lot of time as we have to rewrite the entire 3d render engine to make it compatible with Direct-x 10 graphiccards.

A test with Liquid 7 is planned in a couple of days to check installation with SP3. We do not expect problems as the installation is not checking the exact version of theOS. But wait for a confirmation...

Concerning the disponibilit of any patch for Liquid 7, this is under discussion with our Product Management. Support do not have any information about it actually (then we are very similar to the Avid forum)
