I think it would be much better if the audio properties such as a track's volume and EQ could be changed whilst playing the timeline but without having to stop play. It would need to be effective "on the fly" so that the changes can be heard as play continues but is not committed until, for example, the ENTER key is pressed. At the moment play has to stop whilst changes are made but this makes it difficult to make fine adjustments. Also it would need to have options to effect just the current clip, selected clips or all clips of the adjusted track.

After all, you woulddn't stop a music CD playing or a horror movie on TV in order to turn up the volume, that just wouldn't make sense. But that is exactly what we have to do in all versions, so far, of Pinnacle Studio. Maybe in versio 30 we'll be able to do it.
