I just purchased P26 and am trying to burn a movie with mp4 video file (VLC) recorded with the smart phone. When editing, the audio is in sync with the video, but after I burn the movie, the sound gets further and further behind the image. Who knows what the solution is?

I use the following configuration: Laptop with Windows 10 Home edition; CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800 H; Direct X 9.0C; Video Card: NIVIDEA Geforce RTX 30350 Ti Laptop; Sound card: Realtek (R) audio; memory: 32 GB

The movie is burned as AVCHD with the setting HD 1920x1080/60I;

Video: Codec: H264; Size:1920x1080; peak Bitrate:10000kBit/s; Frame rate: 29.97 frames/sec

Audio: Codec PCM; Example size: 16 bit; Channels: Stereo; sample rate: 48 kHz

The movie is always re-encoded and the pre-processing is set to 'automatic'

This is typical of smartphone video that has used a variable frame rate to record. It's a good idea to convert to footage to a fixed rate before editing. Check the rate of the source before you take any other steps.

A lot of people use a free program called Handbrake.
