Please help if you know a way to apply a Horizontal size setting (in the properties) to Multiple images on timeline.

Hello and thank you in advance if you can help.

Is there a way to apply a Horizontal size setting (in the properties) to all pics on timeline, or set it as default?

My issue is if I choose fit the image does not quite cover 16:9 format and if I choose fill it crops a lot of the image out to fill. I just want to stretch the horizontal a bit so image fits the chosen format.

Which version? What is your timeline settings? I've used Crop>Fill and never had that issue.

I am new to pinnacle and using ver 26 ultimate. My timeline setting is 16:9.  I do not see crop or fill in the menu when right clicking on the image in the timeline. There is a fx , crop borders and progressive stretch but those do not work to well.

Try to use one of the first 2D/3D effects. You can copy this effect with the set parameters for the first picture in one step to all other clips on the timeline

    I know two ways.

    Recipe #1 :

    1. apply Horizontal size in Properties to 1st clip
    2. hover your mouse over the blue line on top of the clip thumbnail in timeline to get a Fx mouse pointer
    3. right-click + Editor + Properties + Copy all
    4. select all other clips on the timeline
    5. right-click
    6. paste attributes

    Recipe #2 :
    1. select all clips on timeline
    2.  right+click
    3. Group
    4. Create a nested project
    5. apply Editor + Properties + Horizontal size to the nested clip

And to select everything on timeline just after 1st clip : hold down Ctrl + Shift while left-clicking the second clip.
