Does the MovieBox hardware get power from the USB-B cable or the Firewire Cable?  Does it need power?

 I am hopeful that my MacOS Monterey or Ventura will recognize the hardware as a native DV/USB device but so far it is not.

 Any solutions to recognizing the MovieBox on MacOS would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
