sound appears  in wmp - everywhere except pinnacle studio edit. i bet i am missing a basic thing.

I checked my mixer and it was at 100%, not muted. I've uninstalled and re-installed 3 times, I've tried repairing 2 times, still nothing. I was editing a movie and it was working fine when all of a sudden no more sound from timeline. Scorefitter music plays fine and everything until it goes on the timeline. Voiceovers, recorded audio from video, nothing plays. So much money for nothing.

Audio can be muted with a control located underneath preview window. Check it out.

Then , I think it can't be the button I talked about in my previous message, otherwise you would not hear anything even if played from the library.

Another possibility is that the whole sound of timeline is muted. Check out this button :
