    Audio incomplete on Export

This is a complex 10-minute video which previews correctly on the Timeline.

The audio in the second half of it is a .wav file (narration) which also previews correctly.

On export, the audio of the .wav. file stop prematurely by 15 seconds.

I have deleted render files, renamed the file, and tried removing video above the .wav track, and nearby transitions. No effect

I can't figure out why a .wav file would just stop on Export only.

The export format is H.264 1080p.

    Thanks,

    Christian

    Re: Audio incomplete on Export

I can't offer you a solution. I tested a video from someone on the FB page. They too were using PS23 to edit and upload the video.

They sent me the project, and yes, it played back correctly on the timeline. but when exported, and it didn't matter what format, there was the audio dropout from the music.

It would do it at about the same point. There was no break in the video, no special FX added.

I tried it in PS25 and it went as it should. I have yet been able to explain why it happened.

    Re: Audio incomplete on Export

Thanks. I'll upgrade after this project. I understand that PS 25 will also allow me to copy audio equalizer settings clip to clip, which 23 can't do.

    For others:

I was able to work around this issue (of audio drop) by exporting the video in halves as Mp4s.

For some reason, after multiples tries, the audio exported complete in the shorter segments.

I then imported the MP4s into a single Studio Project, which did export complete.

Not much quality loss that I could see, but of course subsequent editing was made awkward.
