Apply Same Edits to Multiple Clips

I have dozens of short video clips that all need the same change.

In this case, audio/equalizer/LoCut. That's five clicks. I choose the clip, double-click, select audio, select Equalizer, select LoCut, and make the change in frequency.

Is there a way to apply the same changes to multiple video clips? (Highlighting them doesn't permit a gang edit).

Alternatively, is it possible to construct a shortcut to a specific edit--that is, to bring up the audio equalizer immediately?

    Thanks.

The equalizer belongs to the corrections. They can be copied, but unfortunately can't be pasted. This bug has been fixed with PS24.

Instead you need to apply the equalizer that is present in the Effects. Effects can be copied/pasted or saved as a composition of effects to be applied later. But this equalizer doesn't have a high-pass filter to cut low frequencies. But lowering to -18dB the gain of the frequencies involved by the high-pass filter should do the same.

Re: Re:Apply Same Edits to Multiple Clips

    Hi Saby,

I am approaching picture lock for this large project and intend to upgrade to PS 25 soon, specifically for audio correction.

Please reconfirm that with PS 25 I will be able to copy Equalizer settings (in Corrections) and then paste them clip to clip.

This will most often be LoCut and similar corrections.

I have hundreds of such clips and the ability to add preset corrections is the only reason to upgrade. Otherwise PS 23 has worked well in dealing with 420 gigabytes of source files.

Also: when upgrading, how best to back up my current project to protect against disaster?

(I currently save copies of PS .movie files externally, as backups.

    Thanks

    CW

    I confirm once again.

I never ever experienced any loss of projects after an upgrade. But backing up the ps.movie files can't be a bad thing.

Grouping makes it possible to change several clips with the same setting.

You could do it using the mask track as explained by Paul Holtz here

You can apply some filters or effects to a track mask not corrections. And none of these effects are for audio.
