Has anyone been able to download the 4gb file successfully?

mine says it could not unzip because of a problem with drones files.

the compact file unzipped ok 

yes i know this is pinnacle 25

What's the exact message you get? I've just downloaded it and extracted the contents of the zip sucessesfully so you probably have a corrupt download.

 There are 4 files in the Full download that aren't in the Compact one. These can be downloaded individually from the bottom of the download page as and when you need them. You only need the Drone HQ or MQ files if you want to make the Drone project in 4K or HD, and the Train and Rising Sun files are demo clips for working with 360 degree video.

I was just trying to follow the titles instructions in the book.

I am the author and I have not received any emails from you.

What address did you send the email to?

My previous reply still stands. Try downloading the file again or use the Compact file until you need to use and of the files I listed above, and then download them individually.

Did you not say recently that you had a lot of trouble with your interent connection?

 

Look what I found in my Spam folder: I'd say having such a random email address and using AOL is likely the cause of it hitting my gmail filter.

A lot of the new features aren't mature yet IMHO. For example, I don't understand why the Blend modes can't be applied to the Transparency track header. I'm waiting for another patch before commiting time to an update.

Thanks for the update. 

When you  say that the Blend Modes should be applied to the Transparency track header, do you mean that you want a button to be positioned on the timeline header (next to the transparency icon perhaps) or on the Transparency flyout to the left of the timeline?

It seems to me that putting the Blend Modes under the Editor/Properties tab makes sense because they would be mostly used for individual clips (not whole tracks) and you would often need the other settings under the Properties tab (such as, position, size, opacity) to get the effect you're aiming for..

Of course it does. I'm not saying it shouldn't be in properties, but what's the point of even having a transparency keyframeable track if you can't apply blend modes to it?

The reason your other post went wrong was because you probably had copied and pasted it from some sort of text editor - it had formating codes in it that this forum doesn't recognise. But now I AM going off-topic....
