Well what a fun afternoon I had yesterday, it all started on the laptop with trying to add a basic title and getting the message in the attachment.

I knew I'd seen a post about this on the forum so dug it out and tried everything suggested and nothing worked, so i then uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled.

On reinstalling I found that no sound effects were showing in the library, so dug out the post about how to get those back, once I'd got those back showing I carried on checking things out, and discovered, that HFX packs 1-3 were all watermarked, so back into search on the forum to find the post about sorting those as i couldn't remember what i had to delete to get those all showing and working properly.

Once I'd sorted those everything is now back up and running (thank goodness for the library backup and restore function).

It's a good job that I'm used to Studio and some of its foibles, and can find my way around the forum, can understand why some folk struggle.

I thought that I was used to Studio too, but I can't work on v 24.

Cheers Fidel, yeah of all the versions, I don't think I've known one as awkward as 24, sometimes i wonder if I'll give something else a go, but Studio has got such a great support team via the forum

Yeah... I go back even further.... but S10 was a disaster.

S7 with a studio lynx was my start with studio, then dropped off the scene around about 17 for a few years before rejoining on 22

I've had personally, pretty good editing with Pinnacle. Yes, there were "hiccups" with some of the releases, but after (at least in the past) the .5 update/patch, all was well.

With PS24, so such "luck". 

Like everyone else, waiting for a new patch that has been a long time in coming....
