Increasing the Size of the Visual Sound Envelope on Audio Tracks

To aid frame-accurate audio editing, I frequently wish to refer precisely to the visual representation of the sound that PS (usually) inserts on its audio tracks.  I wish to increase the envelope size of the audio representation (in the vertical direction) without increasing actual the audio level of the track or clip.  Most sound editors (eg Audacity) manage this well. How can this be achieved in PS24U?

No other solution than detaching audio and increase the heightof the audio track once detached.

    Thanks.

Usually have detached the audio.  Have tried increasing track size but it doesn’t usefully increase the audio representation size relative to the track - especially if the audio level is generally low and I am trying to see low level sounds (eg speech) in order to cut them out.

The size of the track actually has an impact on the size of the waveform. If the waveform is really to thin, it might be insufficient.
