I had and I was exporting with HEVC before I upgraded PS 24 Ult from 23 Ult. Did it get removed during the upgraded? I saw the windows link for it on another thread and tried using both my PS 23 and 24 codes. no go. I should not have to pay for it again. Do I need to get a support ticket to fix this?  

You should see h.265 under export format.  That is HEVC.

Chatted with support and got it fixed. I guess it was not activated after I upgraded to 24? But HEVC is there now. 

What steps did you take to activate it so others in the forum can benifit if it happens to them?

AFAIK, there is nothing to activate to be able to export in HEVC, except installing the HEVC extension by Microsoft.
