    Clicking export button closes PS

Being doing some dvd's this morning to clear out some space, all was fine on the first 2, but now each time I click the export button it closes PS after about 15 seconds.

I have deleted renders files, rebooted and is still the same.

If I try to export a dvd created earlier that burned fine, it now closes PS on that one too.

You may try a complete reset of Studio.

That was my next thing to try, was just looking to see what it did, in the way of changes.  I presume the store locations would be changed, but what else.

You loose all the customization of the library.

Tried the reset, rebooted pc, checked storage locations etc and none have reset, they are still where I set them and it still closes on export.

Could I rerun an install over it and it would repair any missing files, or do I need to uninstall first ?

First, Have you run scandisk?  It sounds like the FAT might be corrupted.

Second, would be to remove any overclock settings in your bios.

Third, thing would be to run a memory test program.

Just noticed you have an NVidia card.  Role back the driver.  You could restore your video drivers from a backup.  NVidia updates your drivers without notifying you.

    Hi all,

    I did the reset from setup/control panel/reset.

Have run scandisk and no errors found.

    No overclocking been done.

Windows memory test came up clear.

Checked the video card driver and its dated 2019

Starting to think is it worth reinstalling.

I would upgrade to 23 but I have 2 large movies I am working on at the moment, and don't want to risk 23 not working correctly with them.

    Mickiete:

    I did the reset from setup/control panel/reset.

    It's not a full reset.

    For this :

    Rename C:\Users\Yourusername\AppData\Local\Pinnacle_Studio_20\Studio\20.0 to C:\Users\Yourusername\AppData\Local\Pinnacle_Studio_20\Studio\20.0.old

    Launch Studio

If the workaround fails, delete the newly created C:\Users\Yourusername\AppData\Local\Pinnacle_Studio_20\Studio\20.0 and rename C:\Users\Yourusername\AppData\Local\Pinnacle_Studio_20\Studio\20.0.old to C:\Users\Yourusername\AppData\Local\Pinnacle_Studio_20\Studio\20.0
