    PS23 - Export problem with 1080 / 50i format

    Hello everybody

Since upgrading from version 18 to 23 Ultimate, I can no longer create my Blu-rays in 1920x1080 / 50i format (H.264). When starting "Create image" an error message always appears: 0xE1000006 (Exporting in combination with the current format / preset failed and was canceled)
If I create it with 24p, then it works. However, the finished video jumps every second, since the original material was recorded at 25p and only 24p is rendered. One frame per second is simply cut out there and that cannot be so.

Can someone tell me why I can no longer create my Blu-rays in the usual format? What can I do to make it work as before?

Below is a detail about my PC: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-core, 32 GB RAM, GeForce RTX 2060 Super, Win 10 Home 64bit

    Thanks in advance.

    Best regards

Hi - try switching off the Cuda hardware accelaration, or changing the format to progressive. This may or may not be the cause, but it's woth a try.

    Betreft: Re: PS23 - Export problem with 1080 / 50i format

This is the same problem that I have on my new computer (AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-core, 32 GB RAM, NVidea GeForce GTX1660 SUPER, Win 10 Pro 64 bit when I try to create a BluRay, AVCHD or AVCHD2 image in HD 1920x1080/50i format. (input footage is also 1920x1080/50i)

I use PS21 Pro and get exactly the same error (0xE1000006).

When I select 50p there's no error. The suggestion that Corel gives is unsatisfactory for me: I bought my graphic card specifically for speeding up movie rendering in PS and now it turns out that I can not use it! I considered trying PS23 to see whether the issue was solved since PS21, but apparently not.

This looks like this is a bug in PS that already there in the most recent releases. When will this be solved??

You can go to any video editing forum and see that Nvidia card drivers are a constant issue.  It's not just PS.  They don't seem to care/cater to the video editing market, only to the video game market.  In my opinion, if they can get a 1% better frame rate in a hot topic game and sell tens of thousands of graphics cards, they will sacrifice compatibility with other industries.  Look around, you will see.

    @ KTM_sx125

What if you turn off CUDA hardware acceleration in Studio ?

That's what I do now. No issues then. Doesn't change the fact that I bought a graphic card that's of no use...

And if you contact the manufacture of the video card they will ask you "what game are you having a problem with".

Yes, and I selected the one not explicitally meant for gaming (they have two "flavours").

Just a thought: If I export 50p instead of 50i there is no problem. What are the drawbacks ( the original footage is 50i)?

    Re: Betreft: Re:Betreft: Re: PS23 - Export problem with 1080 / 50i format

In another NLE forum that I frequent, Nvidia drivers have been problematic there also. This is a "pro" editor forum. Amazingly, AMD has been the preferred video card with basically no problems. I use AMD graphics (and do some light gaming too) with PS23 and have zero issues exporting, but can not speak on DVD burning since I do not use that feature.

Some in the pro forum mention using Nvidia Studio drivers over the Geforce Game drivers and have been successful.

You can google Nvidia Studio Drivers and see what is different about them, and where to download them from Nvidia.

You really can't blame Pinnacle for faulty graphics drivers since that is the responsibility of the graphics card manufacturer.

You double the framerate. So basicaly you need to double the bitrate as well.

    How about trying 25p instead.

I updated the driver (NVidea Studio Drivers) to the latest (442.92) version.  No improvement

    Can't select 1920x1080/25p for export. Only 24p .
