After using Pinnacle 12 and then Pinnacle 17 for many years and having just purchased a 4k camcorder I decided it was time to upgrade to Pinnacle 23.
I purchased P23 Ultimate direct from pinnacle_estore.en.cs@digitalriver.com and at the time of ordering (16/11/20) it came with a free Blu Ray Plug. I ordered P23 as a disc for delivery rather than digital download. As it was a Christmas present from my wife I didn't load the P23 software onto my PC till 26th December and it's only this weekend that I have actually had time to start to have a play with it.
Forgive me if I've got this wrong but when looking at the export page it seems you can no longer burn a disc from Export (like in 17) and you have to use Pinnacle My DVD, is this correct? If so I want to burn a Blu Ray but when I open My DVD, the Blu Ray option is greyed out (DVD and AVCHD OK). I can also see that you can export to My DVD from the edit page which when similarly when I select Blu Ray brings up a window saying I need to purchase the Blu Ray Plug In. Also when looking through the main P23 menus I noticed the ?Help menu gives me an option to purchase Blu Ray.
All this is strange as I thought the plug in it came with my purchase. When I look back to my original order confirmation mail there is a link on the invoice which says Begin Download of the Blu Ray plug in. I did this at the time of purchase and can see the PinnacleStudio_Blu_Ray.exe in my PC folder and when I double click it it says Pinnacle Studios Blu Ray Authoring is now enabled.
Just in case there was a problem with the plug in I tried to re-download it from my invoice link but now get the message....
