Please "keep" dvd authoring legacy mode

I've tried the myDVD program and I do not like it.  I much prefer the legacy authoring mode.  I like easily converting my markers into chapters, and the export options are easy to understand and make sense.  I like to select DVD DL and it clearly tells my how much quality/how full the disc will be.  Editing the menu is also easy, and I usually burn to .ISO.

This feature has been in legacy mode for the past few releases now and I fear they will eventually do away with it.  +1 for keeping this.

They have no plan to remove it.

I so hope they keep it. MyDVD has no advanced options for the power user. The biggest one for me is that you can't add a video background to a menu. There is no ability to create a custom menu by adding graphic files. There are more but you get the idea. It does work for a quick simple disk. Just name your media files to what you want the button text to be before hand.

MyDVD fits most "average" people expectations, but doesn't fit power users expectations.

Hopefully they plan to power up the MyDVD application in the future. I use the legacy studio option to export ISO mostly. It does beg the question about where do the power users go.
