PS23 Ultimate - Dolby Digital is not recognized

    Absurd!

My cameras record in Dolby Digital.

I will have to reuse the PS22 because of something I can't understand why.

And Corel announced that it worked.

I use W7 but I have W10 too, but I read a post from you that said it wouldn't work on W10 either. Has it been resolved on W10? If so I can migrate to it.

Dolby Digital 5.1 can be imported in PS23 and Win10 but it can't be exported.

Dolby Digital 2.0 can be imported and exported in PS23 and Win10.

Both can not be imported or exported in PS23 and Win8 or earlier.

Re: PS23 Ultimate - Dolby Digital is not recognized

    Ok.

The camera records in 2.0. Then it should work on W10. However, it is sad that I can no longer generate Dolby Digital 5.1, nor can I import and export Dolby 2.0 on PS23 W7. I would like to understand why.

    Thanks

Re: PS23 Ultimate - Dolby Digital is not recognized

My guess : it's a matter of royalties asked by Dolby to Corel. Something must have changed between the 2 companies.

Re: PS23 Ultimate - Dolby Digital is not recognized

    I suspected that was it.

I hope Corel will work it out, because it is very bad for a later version of the program to be inferior in something to an earlier version. This begins to degrade the product.

Thank you for your attention and feedback.
