    Latest v22 patch

    Hi all,

I've just recieved the latest patch of v22 [22.3.0.377]. Does anyone know where I can find a list of what features/bugs this addresses?

    Thanks all

    Adrian

    Re: Latest v22 patch

Came here to ask same question.

Moreover, how did this patch get downloaded? I have not opened Studio 22 today but found the patch purely by chance in a subfolder of my default Downloads folder. It was dated just 3 minutes earlier! Only saw it because I was clearing out my Downloads folder, otherwise may not have

    found it for months!

Edit: Opened Studio and was prompted to update. I have done so and all appears to be OK (visually). The updater's file extractor routine did not close at the end - had to close it myself - so I suspect I have a load of temp files left somewhere. Does anyone know where these would be?

    Re: Latest v22 patch

Have noticed its now possible to minimise the program on the Export screen - nice. Also, Transition Mode on project setup - will this make the transitions function, optionally, like the original way?

Whatever the changes are they seem to work ... just created my first Blu-ray successfully with V22 - no silly business with the transitions and no crashes. Also, seems speedier.

    Re: Latest v22 patch

Fix list should be posted soon, but a summary (unofficial)

"L" key will start in 2x and then 4x, etc.

Color Grading preview is black / wrong frame / previous project, and PS hangs
Side effect of J-K-L hotfix appears in Titler, Exporter, text entry in areas of Edit mode
Color Grading preview displays wrong frame, if variable frame rate video e.g. iPhone
Some videos flicker during playback, after applying LUT
-- Retain 4K format between PS and Split Screen
-- Color Grading will not apply to the selected clip until CG parameters have been changed
-- Can remove Color Grading from selected clip
-- Color grading preview shows message "Selected clip displays here" when playhead is on an unselected clip

Yep, but it's not new. PS22.2 introduced this new setting.

Ugh! Just installed it and now my projects have a NBFX on all my clips if I add any effect. What gives?

Where can I find this patch please? Although I have ticked 'check for updates daily' it does not come up when I open the program.

    Re: Latest v22 patch

In addition to the checking periodicity options you have the possibility to launch an immediate check up.

    Re: Latest v22 patch

Hello everyone - Similar questions or opposite experience! LOL

This patch has been a disaster for me. Prior, I was working on a project with relative ease, with possible exception of Time-Remapping - it seems to "tax" the system.

But now my projects will barely stay open, much less allow me to edit without crashing. Often, just changing from one mode to the next, e.g. If in Editor, on Properties, click Color... Crash.

On the occasions I performed some edits, I have had keyframes not show in the editor, though their values were stored. I have had "play" get stuck in the "on" position. Time Remapping seems to be rendering in the background, but no progress bar shows.

I have PS22U physical. I have uninstalled, re-installed from disc, tried operating without the patch install but now have issues that were not present before. I finally installed the patch again to see if it was originally just a bad install. It did not close completely upon finishing. And I still have constant crashes.

I have adjusted optimization in various ways. Time-Remapping seems to be an instigator. I have prioritized NGStudio.

I, too have searched for a list of features or bugs... to no avail. No answers yet from Corel.

I tried to read all the messages but maybe I missed it, but does anyone have suggestions or help for what I should try next?

    Thanks a lot,
