60p - frame inserted at end of cut

    Hey guys,

Filming in 1080 60p AVCHD.  Take a look at the :30 and the :48 marks in video.  At the end of each cut there is some random frame inserted.   It is visible if I play the scrubber bar in real time.  However it is not visible if I advance the scrubber bar frame by frame.  It doesn't matter if I change the project settings from 60p to 30p.  It appears in exported footage both 60p and 30p (linked below).  Anyone have any ideas?

I had the same some times in PS21U and when I expanded the time line fully at the joint between the 2 clips, I could see an extra frame being inserted and could delete that frame, which for some odd reason had come in from somewhere else. I do not know how that extra frame came there, but taken it out made the problem go away.

thanks, but the frame is not there when zooming in.  And, if I advance back and forth (frame by frame) between the cut sequences it does not produce the frame.  It only shows up when playing back the preview in real time or in the rendered video.  FWIW, I just did a similar edit in Premier and the frame was not there.

What version are you using? Screen shot of the timeline where it happens would help.

    Might be hardware acceleration related.

May be a problem in the temp. render files for preview.

Delete them, let BG render again and check then.

I think this did it.  THANK YOU!  I set this to NONE (instead of CUDA).  This was one of the reasons I got a new video card...but whatever.

I also reset the render files, but I don't think it had rendered at all.  I have preview set to fastest, op thresh set to 50%, and render while play off.  All I did was straight cut on one track so no rendering was needed.  (There was nothing in the render folder either).

In case this helps anyone, my version is PS21.5.0.274 x64
