    can i import effects?

    Can i import effects into Pinnacle Studio 21.5 Unlimited? and how do i import effects?

     I want to use this dust particle effect i found here, it says this effect works for Pinnacle Studio:

    The example you give is not effects, but footage showing particles that you can blend in your original videos (using transparency for this) to add some sort of particles floating in your videos.

    Effects can not be imported, they must be installed. Effects makers, provide an installer for this.

    And those effects are being shown behind the video... you would have to create a matte for the video.

    In the notes the author says the program needs to have a blending mode such as Screen or Add, which would in effect remove the black background to reveal the image below. I don't know if Studio has such a mode but Studio can recognize some alpha channel videos. The file below is the #7 video with the alpha channel added. You can try it in Studio to see if it works for your presentation. It's a 49MB mov file. Right click and Save as to test it.

    Use Luma keying (not Chroma keing) to remove the black background of the videos and only the particles will remain in overlay.
