    mts file extensions not rendering.

I'm a new user, first time with Pinnacle Studio 20 Ultimate.

    My PC is:

    HP ProDesk 400G1

    Intel Core i5 processor

Solid State Drive (SSD 256GB)  (CPU speed 4570 (3.2 GHz))

    Windows 10 pro

    64bit

    8 GB Ram

    Intel HD graphics 4600

    I'm using a sony HDR-CX190 Handycam

All my files from my camera seem to download to the system in MTS file extensions.

when I use the  smart movie feature, no rendering happens.  I can HEAR the video but I can't SEE the video.

I can't even get the score fitter music to preview where I can hear it.

I'm at a loss if this is

    A. not enough PC power

    B. an install issue

    C a file issue

D user error (I just cant figure it out or find anything in FAQ to get me on the way)

    update.

I just reinstalled the software with a hard drive location that windows didn't choose.  I put it on a external hard drive and it seemed to go well.

I am using Studio Backlot training and when I get to the using PS20 "training" for the first time, using the canned 'blue sky" project, I cant see the video in the rendering.  once again I can hear it but I can't see it.

with my limited knowledge of software, I "think' this is a video card issue and my PC may not have enough to use this software.

Installing this version of DirectX may be the solution for this problem : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
