confused about stereoscopic 3d in Pinnacle studio 20 ultimate

I recently bought pinnacle studio 20 ultimate last year and i'm making fancy cooking videos.

I was wondering about the stereoscopic 3d feature. I do not have any 3d equipment, 3d glasses, or screens with 3d capabilities, or any 3d cameras. So is it pointless for me to enable stereoscopic 3d in my videos or should I just keep the imaging set at 2d?

I noticed that when I do enable 3d, some of the colors look strange, the red looks black, the green looks yellow, etc. and other strange things happen.

So would it make more sense to just leave the setting at 2d?

If you don't have any 3D video footage, it's pointless to enable 3D in Studio.
