My father purchased "Studio HD Ultimate Collection 15" last year and now he tried to edit video from a Canon camera. Studio asks him to activate MPEG-4 decoding/encoding, but the problem is that the URL is invalid and when we manually try to reach the page http://unlock.avid.com is not live. Did Corel/Avid/Pinnacle change the address to the activation server? Reading this forum, some moderators seem to be able to generate keys from Passport and email information. Whom should we contact? Help would be greatly appreciated!

It's a problem of URL that is no longer the same.
It has been escalated to Corel's IT guys long ago.

I've been unable to open various mov-based folders in pinnacle studio 15. When I try and do so, it says I need to activate MPEG-4 Encoding/Decoding available free but when I click on "activate now" it takes me to a website that is no longer active. I've spent ages looking for a solution and came across this forum and thread. Is there anything you can recommend to help resolve this?

i'm trying to send saby a screenshot in addition to the info pm'd that i typed by hand. i'm having trouble pasting in the screenshot - i can't see the image. also when i just went ahead and clicked send on the pm, i got an error that the forum mailer choked. any tips?
