Hi. When I click on 'Import' in Studio 18 U, the software immediately crashes every time. Does anyone know of a fix? Any help would be much appreciated.

I Just noticed that when import device (Sony HDR-FX7) is switched off, the import panel opens up. When I switch the camera on & click on it in the window, the system then crashes.

I am having some trouble following the steps you give for the fix.

I can get here On your PC, browse to C:\Program Files\Pinnacle\Studio 18\programs but there is no "X_ImportComponents.dll". listed and I see no way to select View->Options->View and select "Show Hidden files and folders".

I am not so good at figuring out the insides of the computer programs but am good at following directions so do you have more details I need to follow or??
