Adjust it by double-clicking it in the library before adding it in the menu editor.

Its thumbnail changes and get added a gear icon :

When I double click the music icon in the scorefitter library I get the sound waves in my movie window, but the gear doesn't show up on the icon in the library.

Would you post a screenshot of what you get when you double-click a music file from the library ?

What flavor of Studio do you own ?

Re: Re:Adjusting volume of music put on Menu

    I have 18.5.1.827 Ultimate.

I have never done a live screenshot. I have been to all programs, studio 18,  Live screen capture, when I check settings it only shows wmv format.

A simple screenshot = a photography of your screen, not a video.

Like I did in my previous posts.

I am trying. The screen capture settings do not offer J-PEG. Only wmv. Very confusing.

Live Screen capturing creates videos. I don't need a video, but a still picture. There is a Capture tool in Windows, in All programs, Accessories.

I have the screenshot but those send instructions are wrong. There is no option. It is asking for a URL.

I'll try later. I need a break. Thanks saby.

I get this screen if I use the sample library audio. But not with scorefitter.

Re: Re:Adjusting volume of music put on Menu

You actually double clicked? The Corrections editor should open. If it doesn't try right clicking and choosing Open in Corrections. But that doesn't work for Scorefitter, only normal music.

You can also double click on the audio drop zone to open the current selction in Corrections, but again, you can't do this with Scorefitter. You woul have to render out the music as a wav files and use it as such.

Scorefitter music should be normalised, so I'm assuming you want music that is quieter than the "correct" level?

Re: Re:Adjusting volume of music put on Menu

Thanks jjn, Everything you said goes to the screenshot I showed. No scorefitter Corrections.

It was easier to adjust the rest of the movie volume to the scorefitter music volume. Luckily it was only a 40 minute movie.

They need to fix this. I used PS 12.1 for years and was able to do this on the timeline. Several weeks ago I lost my XP computer and along with it my PS 12.1. Such a loss.

My old brain cells are working overtime to get back in the groove.

Given that it's not a problem opening correction here, there might be something wrong with your Install. But adjusting the level of Scorefitter can't be done that way anyway.

Re: Re:Adjusting volume of music put on Menu

I can open corrections here for sample music and Triple Scoop. Why not Scorefitter ? I like to use Scorefitter with my Menus. A lot of work just to adjust the Scorefitter volume with Menu.

    Why not Scorefitter ?
Because Scorefitter isn't an audio file, its a music generation feature. Have you noticed how it can adapt it's length and still remain as a valid composition? The only way you can adjust it's volume is by putting it on the timeline, or rending it out as an audio file and then using corrections on it.

If you want to post a feature request to add Volume as a Scorefitter function, or Volume control to the Menu audio drop zone, then please do. But it's not a bug.
