    Re: activation

The last few posts on the subject indicates that the activation server is off-line.

    Re: activation

It is probably gone forever. The product is over a decade old now. You should think about moving on.

    Re: activation

i don't think it has been 10 years since i bought mine and they did't mention that I would be limited as to how long I could use it when I was shelling out them dead presidents to them

    Re: activation

If you have a working system, I'd clone the harddrive. The last date Liquid could have been purchased was probably between 2007 and 2008. Download the Edius trial and consider the crossgrade special.

    Re: activation

i ended up joining the cloud,im not happy about paying rent on anything but it looks like we only rent software anyway. It appears they have made PP way more friendly with mixing camera formats on the same timeline and that was a major problem for me in the past with using PP. I can now also import xdcam footage without converting it first so thats a big plus too. They also have a new ingest too im interested to see how it works ,liquid always wanted to hide the reels way down in sub folders which made them hard to find after a period of time.......anyone need a pro bob at a bargain?? lol

    Re: activation

You can probably sell that on eBay.  I still have customers who are reluctant to swap from Liquid needed Pro Boxes occasionally.

Yeah, ownership of anything appears to be an illusion.

    Re: activation

Have you tried activation?  I just put my copy of Liquid on a system and clicked the activate button and it came back and said it was unlocked.

    Re: activation

Just two weeks ago I installed liquid 7 on a new Mac Pro tower (running PC sideboot with windows 7) and it installed perfectly.  All the license sites were up and running including Title Deko Pro.  encountered no issues.

    Re: activation

Yes - Adobe PP cloud is really improved - has a lot of features now that seem oddly similar to Liquid 7...I happen to LOVE the subscription model....i think its around 50-60 bucks a month for most folks...but even for $100 - $150 a month it would be worth it for me - it's HUGE toolbox for a small amount of money
