Hello Everyone:

   I want to capture video from a vhsc tape(through an adapter in my vcr) into studio 17. Can it be done? And if so, how would I set it up? I don't see any firewire ports in your motherboard. Have you tried using this item for capturing. I am not sure if it may work with Windows 8 or 8.1

Your Avermedia only has HDMI input/output but does not have any RCA inputs/outputs or firewire to capture from analog camcorder.

There is a firewire port on the back panel of this motherboard.  You could get a Grass Valley ADVC-55 digital to analog converter.
