It's in the specs, yes and I believe someone on the french forum has tested it.

If you can upload a sample to the cloud I'll make a BluRay image and post it back for you, but I don't have a 50p camera or a BluRay burner (I just put stuff on a memory card because my TV has a memory slot)

Hang on, there looks like there is a bug - but it still might be Ok.

When I set up a 60p project (with a photo) and try to make a BR image, the preset says it 24p. If I go into the advanced settings and change it to 60p and come back it still says 24p. When I make an image and then inspect the Stream folder, the M2TS file is 60p (59.94 proogressive)#

So the messages are wrong, but the output looks OK.

I'm told there should be a trial version available in the not too distant future, if you don't want to upload some 60p footage.
