    Studio 16 the new Liquid?

I was watching the S16 tutorials its got a few similar features to liquid. One of the them I miss is making any track audio or video or both.

Yah, but the feeling is not as professional as LIQUID!   I wonder if Corel even has the Rights to possibly bring Liquid Back?  I hope so and wish they would becaus I tried and Hate Media Composer and am screaming and kicking my way through Adobe. My God, Premiere doesn't even display running times on every clip!  You cannot simply look a different clips on your timeline and see their lengths. You have to hover your mouse over a clip and wait 2 seconds to get a clips Length! That's so way lame!   PLEASE RESURRECT LIQUID OBE WON KANOBE!

Hey guys, have a look at Grass Valley Edius. It is very similar to Liquid. There is a full trial version to experiment with.

Yes LewS I use Edius 6 it is like Liquid just a few pet peevs I have. But I will admit Edius is great when it comes to rendering because you don't have to. I just export timeline with all the fx's. It will playback the timeline smoothly with almost all fx's. Also multi cam works great and easy. There are just a few things I don't like can't put a transition at the ending clip like Liquid you have to use the Key track. I liked Liquids adding a track line anywhere as a video or audio or both that was nice and subtracks I never used but would use now.

Every NLE has its' quirks but overall Edius has a very intuitive workflow like Liquid. I just finished an hour video edited with Edius over four days and never had so much as a hiccup and this was the first real project I did with Edius. This is an extremely stable application.

While there are some great features in Media Composer, I suspect Edius might be a better fit for ex Liquid users who need more than Pinnacle Studio 16.

There is currently a crossgrade discount, so timing is relevant...

Two years ago I changed to Edius and I agree 100% with Lews' s opinion!
