    Files on a USB disk

How do I format the files on an external disk for use with the Showcenter USB port? Do I have to use the PC software to move them to the disk then move the disk to the SC?

    Andi.

Don't think you need to use the Showcenter PC software to move the files.    You may, however, have to re-encode the video files into a format that the ShowCenter can play (I use xvid, for example).

There's a manual here.  See "Attaching USB Devices" under "Special Functions" to see what the limitations are (you need a FAT-formatted filesystem, for example) -- and see "File Formats" under "Pinnacle Media Manager" for a list of some of the formats you should expect the ShowCenter to be able to play.

To re-encode incompatible formats (like .mov or .mkv files), one option is to use SUPER.
