I have been having a problem with the product when it comes time to put the video on the dvd. I am trying to take a VHS and put it on a DVD but when i go to export the product to the disc it will not burn the product. It goes thru the motions and then when it says complete i take the disc to try it out and it tells me the disc is invalid on all DVD players in the house. Then sometimes it tells me the disc is not empty and there is not enough space when it is a 250 min disc and theres only maybe 92 minutes of movie. Has anyone had this problem. I have been trying to get it to download all day but havn't had any success. Does anyone know what i am doing wrong. I am going into the setup and making sure all is right then create disc.

Were going to need some more information before we can try to figure this out. First what software are you using, also will need to know what type of DVD blanks are you using. i.e. DVD-r, DVD+R, DVD-RW etc. what type of burner do you have. Also would be nice to now what type of computer you have.

Its an HP computer, software windows xp, and the discs are DVD + R, im also trying on another computer that has the newest windows 7

DVD+R disk usually have problems on older DVD players. I'd use DVD-R. IF you have newer players, then try setting the Studio option to "Create disk but do not burn" this will save the image on you hard drive, and then see if you can play that from your hard drive using a DVD player software. This will start to pin down the problem area. (Also, see if your computer will play the disk if you have any DVD player software).

I honestly don't think the problem is at the players but in the program somewhere where im doing something wrong. I have new players that is supposed to accept these type discs. The computer won't even acknowledge them. I will try DVD-R today but its just weird because i got it to work on one of the videos which was the first one, then it just stopped burning it on the disc. This has happened on two computers. I go in and change the disc settings, then create disc whcih causes it to go in the burn mode and takes quite a while. Then it tells me its complete and ejects the disc but theres nothing on the disc thats usable, It says its invalid.

OK, where going to have to step though each step to see what's going on. Set the "Create disk but do not burn" option in the "Settings..." button. This will save the disk image to your hard drive. Will it play there? If so then you disk image is good. If not, then there something in the project that is incorrect.
