(Boy, you really DO need to get to bed, Bertrand!  Sleep)

Thank you for the OT forum!  Now, hopefully, the support forums can remain that...SUPPORT forums.

The only forum we're lacking now?  A "Whining, crying, and ranting" forum, which lets users make posts that only they themselves can read...Lightning

    Re: Welcome

The only forum we're lacking now?  A "Whining, crying, and ranting" forum,
Less than a year ago, that's what the General forum was for, wasn't it? I don't think the moderation has got much stricter, but I've seen a large reduction in complaints.

The reason can only be that S11 is the best release for some considerable time. Even the issues with burner recognition were dealt with openly and relatively swiftly.

So what seem to be the chief causes of complaint at present? Apart from people who want something for nothing or who can't read what it says on the box or the first few pages of the manual, there are still a number of deep seated bugs. Acknowledging them, particularly when reported as accurately as Bittmann does, would be a great step forward - and that is what Warren has just done with the speed reverse bug.

The Manual needs a rewrite. There is a lot of out of date information in there, and a lot of features that aren't covered.

Anyway, it seems there are now more complaints about the Forum software than the Editing software.

At the risk of sound a sycophant, keep up the good work!

Why, Jeff?  Those who need it, don't read it.  And those who read it, can probably figure things out for themselves. Big Smile

Not much more to say about that, WELCOME.

A blonde says to a brunette, ''Excuse me, but each time I sip my coffee, my eye seems to hurt.''

The brunette says, ''Well maybe you should take the spoon out of the cup.''

It's good to see those stripes again, the last time I saw you was at 1919 posts. Yer at 1925 now, where have I been ?

    Cool

Traveling in a train were a Wallaby, an All Black, a spectacular looking blonde and an older lady. After several minutes of the trip the train happens to pass through a dark tunnel and the unmistakable sound of a slap is heard. When they leave the tunnel the Wallaby had a big red slap mark on his cheek.

    (1) The blonde thought - "That horrible Wallaby wanted to touch me and by mistake he must have put his hand on the lady, who in turn must have slapped his face."

    (2) The older lady thought - "This dirty Wallaby laid his hands on the blonde and she smacked him."

    (3) The Wallaby thought - "That bloody All Black put his hand on that blonde and by mistake she slapped me."

    (4) The All Black thought - "I hope there's another tunnel soon so I can smack that stupid Wallaby again."

    Big Smile
