    Montage Playback and Movie Rendering

I am using Studio 14 Ultimate Collection, and have utilized Montage in parts of my project. In real-time viewing (i.e., play mode iwhile in the editor), the montage sections aren't rendering smoothly (i.e, parts of the animation get skipped, or pictures are blacked-out, etc), but I can see enough to continue building the project to my liking. I assume it might be the montage animations are just taxing my system a bit. Question is whether these Montage animations will render properly when I go to make the movie?

Switch on background rendering if you haven't got it on. Let all the green slices render to orange and then preview. If you are still getting problens, then I'd suggest you do a test render to an mpeg-2 file before you do any more work.

Re: Montage Playback and Movie Rendering

Just thought I would report back. I was able to check the 'Background Rendering' and it is activated. Everything on the timeline is 'orange' also. I was able to generate a movie TS file successfully, and write out to a DVD. It played the Montage sequences fine, except for some other glitches that I believe are program glitches (I need to experiment a bit with these). But in answer to my original question, it appears that the rendering is complete on the final 'make a movie' even if my system can't always display it in realtime.

Thanks for the update, If you still get glitches deleting auxiliary files will help.
