I've got a Sony Vaio "All In One" 2.4 gig core 2 duo 8300 with 4 gigs of ram. My video card is a GEForce 8400M GT. My issue is with a failure to export HDV to an HDV file. I'm successful when exporting an ordinary DV project to DV, but everytime HDV fails or hangs when exporting to an HDV file. The odd thing is I also have a Sony Vaio laptop with the same processor and a simple Intel Express 965 chipset for video. With that setup (a LESS sophisticated video display), I have no issues exporting. Both are operating on Windows 7.
Does anyone have any idea what's happening?
