Hi,

I have saved a filmproject on a computer with Windows XP, and now I have to open the project on a computer with Windows Vista. Same Pinnacle version. It wouldn't work. I am getting an error message???

Any solutions??

A possible solution would be to save your project as an AVI file on your XP machine. This AVI file should open in the Vista machine. Of course you will loose your ability to change any of the editing you've already done, but you should be able to add additional editing.

How were you able to transfer the project? You will need all the accompanying assets (videos, photos, music, etc.) along with the saved back up copy of the project to a removable disc and then copy them all over to the new system. Don's suggestion however, seems to be the easiest way to move.
