hi there please forgive my lousey typing and spelling i currently have a broken finger, i have bene intermittently for the last year trying to get my liquid 7 to render a small snowboarding film i made for some friendds, basically whenever i have a text dissolve on another video track overlayed or have used the 2d or 3d editors on a clip it renders as either a blank (black) screen or a blank (green) screen have tried so many things i have forgotten half of them can anyone point me in a direction of things to try or maybe see something i have ovrer looked  cheers rick

It sounds like you have a DX10 series video card and have not installed the Liquid DX10 patch. This has nothing to do with what version of DirectX you are running but with what kind of video card you have. Do a search of this forum for the DX10 patch and install it. You must be on SP3 of XP and Liquid 7.2 for the patch to work.
