I have been working on 2 projects at once, and forgotten to switch the Render path between them. This means I have 22gb of finished rendered files from project A sitting in project B's folder.
No big problem since I will not be deleting either project until both are finished and I have no further use for any of the render files.
However I have started a 3rd project, and in System Settings > Rendering have changed the render path to the new project C folder. Now, when I switch back to project A it naturally shows all yellow slices until I go into System Settings > Rendering again and change that project's path back its own render path [which was in project B!]. At least that is how it should work, but when I change the render path to the FOLDER containing the render files [.DIF ?], nothing changes on the timeline and it is still all yellow slices.
To be clear, the FOLDER I am directing System Settings > Rendering to is the one containing all the .DIF files [plus sub-folders of ALTERNATVE, DVD, EDITORS etc].
How is Liquid not connecting up the render files here when I am showing it the correct folder they are in? Am I doing something wrong?
Yes I can always re-render project A in its own allocated render folder, but it is not an ideal solution.
