The only difference between Chrome and regular LE is the use of the AJA card which gives you analog HD in and out. If you want to drive an HD monitor and or connect an HD deck with component HD in and out, then you need Chrome. The AJA card also supports HD-SDI connectivity. The software interface and features are identical, the difference is that Chrome comes with very good drivers for the AJA card.
