I have Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 I am trying to use Studio 12.1 to capture directly to the HD. Video quality is good but the video captures in FF mode when there is much movement. If the subject is still there is not a problem.

I have used other software and web sites that capture directly with the Webcam and not seen this before. Is there a setting for this or is this design intent?

Not all capture devices are equally made, capture devices that have video inputs may work differently from Webcameras. I do not have any experience capturing from a logitech web cam within Studio. But have successfully used a miniDV camera to work as one within Studio 12.

Try updating your camera's drivers and try different USB ports, also try playing around with your capture settings. Try different quality settings.

You could also attempt to use Windows Movie Maker for this same task see if it would work.
