I offered to create a short composition for a band to use as they took the stage. I figured this would be a perfect opportunity to pad my musical portfolio and to see what I could produce using exclusively free sounds from freesound.org.
When the song was done, I figured I'd advertize myself a little bit by making it into a video.
I snagged some free images from freerangestock.com and told my story. A hall of mirrors effect and a slight pan and zoom gives the static images a frame and a little bit of life. A sepia tone and a slight bluring effect helps them not to detract from the text.
I played the song and captured the effects from Goldwave using CamStudio. Then I loaded them all into Pinnacle and re-synched the graphics with the sound. The two graphics are trimmed with the 2D advanced editor and laid on top of each other.
