i posted a question the other day which was answered, but now im getting hundreds of emails from Pinnacle a day. please, please tell me how to stop them, they ar not related to my post

Sounds like you may have "subscribed" to a forum or two somehow.

If you go to your profile (click your name at the top of this page) and go into email settings, can you turn off emails there?  Or alternatively, can you figure out which forum you've subscribed to and un-subscribe?

i just updated the send email option on your post, will see what happens now

nothing seems to work, ive updated my profile checked the forums im still fetting 40 to 50 emails a day, is there a way i can delete my connection to the forum?

On the right-hand side of the forum home page, there is a link called "Forum Subscriptions".

Make sure that no forums are selected.

 

If that doesn't work, all you can do is remove/change/whatever your forum email address...is there anyone you don't like that you could redirect all of this email to?   

What kind of mails are they? Are you sure they are from Pinnacle or could it be a spammer flooding your mailbox? You could check the headlines of the mails which are typically hidden.
