    Pinnacle Studio Ultimate and Effects

    HI everyone

I am new to Pinnacle Pro and having some issues that come with being a novice. While trying to add effects this is what I see:

Slow Motion / Speed : Exclemation mark on the clip and no video at all

Pro Dad Vitascene Magic Bullet Looks : video become choppy and sometimes still

Thanks in advance for your help

OK i figured it out and posting it here in any case others have the same issue.

Unchecking the " background rendering" and " full resolution preview" fixed the jittery previews with Magic Bullet and Pro Dad

I am still having issues with Speed. Getting a Blue Exclamation Mark if i try to reduce speed.

     Thanks

    Abhra

I see that also. Here is my take on it. Once you apply the speed change you have to wait for the bar above the clip to change from light green to orange. The software has to render the clip in the slower speed. I always select smooth motion also. Try it again and wait for the bar above the clip to change to orange. This is true for adding overlays also (titles)

Hi. I hope this is the right place to ask this... when I use the "speed" effect on a segment within a clip - middle of clip>razor>move forward>razor> then apply speed effect to slow the segment within the clip I get a strange effect on the whole of the clip. I don't know if this is familiar to you or I am having a particular problem. Can you help me with this?

It would be better if you started a new thread with a relevant title - and when you do, it might help if you expanded on what you mean by a "strange effect" as that is a little vague Wink
