Hi! I'm finally up and running again with Liquid and I'm retraining myself. I've imported some avi clips from my hard drive but the clips are showing up with the red "non-rendered" indicating bar above. It won't render the clip. Also if I try to verify the media in the rack it says the clips copied okay, but I'm still stuck without anything in my right hand editing window. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Have you changed the quality settings, if so, don´t do that without first reading the manual about those settings

edited...  or, if you mean that you have a pink slice, have you edited your clip, otherwise it might be an uncorrect setting for your timeline.

Also, check the location for your render folder.

I've got a similar problem. I've been using edition pro for 6 years, mostly without too much trouble, but now I have a situation where imported video files slices are all red and refuse to render. In addition, looking at 2 or 3 recent edits which are still on the computer I find all the slices are dark red. What can have happened?  The only alterations I made were when I was trying to capture from a Video8 camera via LIVE capture, (mostly it is from MiniDV) and remain unsuccessful as the picture was just a green screen with a slice of an image at the top.

Help please!!
