I highly doubt you would notice any difference.

I have an ATI 4850 with 1 gig and 512 there is little if any difference in any function between the 2 computers. Both have quad core cpu's........Different MB but same in every other aspect.......Edd

At this point Liquid benefits from a higher clocked CPU more than any other property. For example, a dual core clocked at 3,2 gig yields more bang than a quad clocked at 2.4 gig.

No doubt, enhancing the ability to utilize multi cores more efficiently justifies a product re-write, which is presently underway.
