Showing a moving object in video

I am editing a video with some persons moving. I want to show one particular person moving in the video. I mean, for example, a color circle surrounding that particular moving person and moving with that person in the video.

    Or other ways.

Does AL have this tool? I can use Spotlight from Bravo Studio Pack2, but the other area was darkened.

    I appreciate any suggestions.

Look in the Realtime Clip FX / Editors, the "MultiShape SpotLight GPU"

    You need to customize it.

1- Set the "Inner Shape Blending and Color"

    Color Blend: 0.00

2- In the "Outer Shape ..."

    Choose a Color Blend value

3- You can also soften the border with the Shape/ Edge Softness

4- Then, you can use the Position and Size tools.

    Thanks, Sylvain

That is better than Spotlight from Bravo Studio Pack2. However, the inner and outer areas of the circle still must be set to different brightness and darkness to distinguish the person.

Instead of the circle, is there any way to have a moving color circumference (a ring)...as I saw sometime on TV, for no altering the video.

Or.........Why not just find an object with appropriate transparency (ie. Internet search) and place it in a track above the main video and use a 2D filter to move it.  Alternatively, I suspect you could make one in TitleDeko too.  Photoshop?

    Thanks, Fred Moore

Between different methods you suggested, I see TDK Pro is best to me, because the video will not be altered. I am editing a theft scene from video files recorded by surveillance cameras. I try to keep the video as much original as possible.

But my problem is that I don't know how to draw a ring (not circle) in TDK Pro.

Can you or some ones else help me draw a ring in TDK Pro.

    In TDK Pro:

1- Draw a circle with the Ellipse tool.

2- Go in the Look Mode: Select "Hide"

    3- Click Add... / edge

4- Type: border, inner or outer instead of filled.

Then set the color and size, its scale, etc.
