It would be great to have the ability to capture a file using a timer. In other words, record for X minutes.

Once the minutes were done, it would be nice to be able to automatically exit and shut down the machine (optional).

The first part of this request is already implemented, unless it is hardware dependent. See my screenshot below and the Stop Capture: box
